I wanted to share a content strategy that I use with my one-to-one clients and that gets results for them.
Please believe me when I tell you that your audience is full of potential clients and customers.
You need to be showing them you – all sides of you.
A full rounded picture of you and your business.
Your mission and your values.
Your objectives and your drivers.
Your content strategy should be built upon the main themes of your message.
To do this get a piece of paper, write you or your business name in the middle and do a brainstorm exercise.
Can you define the main themes that you talk about?
What are the pillars that build your business?
Do you clearly understand your vision and mission for your business?
What goals do you have?
These key themes are what I like to call buckets.
As an example, here are my themes around which I create content and what I teach to my Signature Coaching clients:
YourStoryYourWay – I’m a huge advocate for being real, honest & open.
ShowUpAsYou – You are unique! No one else has walked your shoes or talks your talk.
AuthenticityBreedsTrust – Driving home the fact that reality builds connections.
NurtureYourNiche – When you talk to everyone, you talk to no one!
SpeakConfidentWordsBoldly – Your Voice, Your Story – every time!
Over the space of a week or ten days or a fortnight you dip into all of your buckets and speak about all of your themes.
This whole content strategy WORKS because over time people, potential customers, will have watched you and they’ll have seen a little bit of every facet of you and your business and your personality.
They can grow in their understanding of who you are. They can grow to like who you are and then they will begin trust you.
By using a content strategy like this, you are drawing your ideal clients closer to making that buying decision because you have built the KNOW LIKE & TRUST!
